I have Wheels of Mizfortunate and thought I’d say a few words about it. I think the book was a unique inside up close look into what it would be like if the worst happened to us , an accident or mishap that would be crippling. I recently broke my ankle and was immobilized for just a brief period of time as I read this book. What am ordeal , so many things that change so quickly. Constant challenges of all kinds. She depicts in interesting ways what that was like. Relationships with family and friends and physical difficulties just getting through each day.
The book gave me new respect for disabled folks and to read the book would be helpful for them as well I feel. I know I am biased because of my friendship with Linda but I would go to bat for her anytime. She has been through more than most folks could deal with but is less handicapped that most in spite of it. Dave Aronson, Minnesota.
