The Last of the Vampires – Book 1 New Blood Rises
The old ways severed. New blood rises.
Now the real hunt begins.
Indah is no ordinary vampire – modern, rebellious, and burning with ambition. After twenty years in service to an ancient vampire master, she’s finally free… and ready to rise.
With beauty sharpened by her new powers, Indah becomes a sensation – dominating Jakarta’s influencer scene, with admirers scrambling to win her favour.
But the spotlight is always a double-edged sword.
When a deadly Dayak warrior is sent by a local crime syndicate to eliminate her, the glittering world Indah built crumbles in an instant. Hunted and alone, she hides in the shadows of Penjaringan – a forgotten village on the city’s edge. There, she befriends a blind boy, Cahya, who offers her a friendship like she has never known.
One reckless choice after another sets destruction in motion, and with Cahya at her side, Indah is forced to flee and finds herself in a secret underworld – one where mythical creatures, older and more fearsome than vampires, still reign in the shadows.
Hunted and haunted, Indah must face the truth of what she is… and who she dares to become.
An action-paced, vampire adventure tale, that drives along to the beat of its very human heart.
