Snakeling, Cublet and O’Connors

The O’Connor family, on a trip to Adelaide, encounter two wild creatures, a baby fox and a tiny snake. Little did any of them know of the adventure they were about to encounter.

After the death of their mother, a family trip is organised to Adelaide in the hope it will help Alex, Peter and Marty to come to terms with their loss.

Meanwhile, in the wild, two abandoned creatures – Cublet, a young fox, and Snakeling, a tiny curious snake – are trying to survive alone. The two unlikely creatures form an alliance in their bid to survive.

As their stories unfold side-by-side, it becomes clear that whether human or animal, the feelings of love and loss are part f everyone’s journey.

Author Bio

Georgette Noëllat was born in Australia in 1951. She attended the University of Melbourne Conservatorium, and later, in the Faculty of Law, attaining degrees in both disciplines.

Throughout her varied life as a music teacher, lawyer, farmer, artist and author, Georgette’s greatest pleasure has been her observations and interaction with of all types of animals, both native and domestic. She and her husband, Janan Fattohi, a retired veterinarian, share their dedication in creating a suitable habitat for all creatures on their small acreage in South Gippsland.

The story of Snakeling and Cublet is based on the brief lives of two unlikely little companions that Georgette observed on her farm.
