Governance
A philosophical, spiritual journey with three main characters, exploring the idea of morality and ultimately how to end evil in the world we live in.
The Prophet is a symbol of religion, and a person’s belief, as he embodies humanity on a journey with God, suggesting that one ‘answer’ to evil in the world is belief, as the Prophet reveals the values of God to humanity.
The Philosopher is symbolic of thought, and, as one of the ‘answers’ to evil in our world, he will entertain the idea of human morality, to lead humanity to a modern, progressive way of thought.
The General represents the need for action in order to conquer the world, he stands as an authority figure of great power, upholding morality during war. The ‘answer’ he represents is the need for forceful action, and that we must fight for freedom.
Governance has been designed with seven chapters for the seven days of the week so a busy reader may finish reading within a week. The subject of morality, traditionally, has always be taught through story- and Governance is no different, filled with symbols and stories to make the journey memorable.
However the reader chooses to read Governance- as philosophical or spiritual journey, or both, it has be designed so any individual from any walk of life may benefit.
Author Bio
I am a daydreamer- Governance was an obsession and a hobby to help cope with the constant overthinking that I have experienced in my life, most probably as a result of mental illness- and a way to cope with it. The daydream has come to an end with the completion of Governance, and, within that daydream, I have seen the world change. I’m proud to say that I have no previous writing experience, so having Governance published is a major win for me. I would like my book to sit in the market as a philosophical masterpiece with deeply religious ideals as a unique story.
I live a private life with close family and friends, and I have my own 4 children- (I come from a family of 11 children). I work on a production line as a maintenance worker for a company that makes timber products in NSW.
I enjoy the intellectual world of books and online conversations. Wishing to progress in character to become a novice intellectual and make a contribution to the intellectual world.
