Submitting your manuscript: When you contact us, and submit your manuscript, please state if you are looking at self publishing packages or full publishing. Self Publishing manuscripts do not necessarily need an appraisal if you have already had it edited and are happy with the result.

Editing is optional – if your manuscript comes to us, and has already been edited, we take it that you are happy with the final version. If however you would like it to be re-edited, or edited for the first time, we are happy to supply a free appraisal and quote for this.

Proofreading is part of our Full packages, and therefore we also offer it to self publishers as well. This is flexible in the self publishing packages. If you do not wish to have your manuscript proofread, please let us know and the package can be adjusted accordingly.

ISBNs: You can supply your own, or use Aurora House ISBNs (bearing in mind that those ISBNs will be registered to Aurora House, and not the author). Again, please let us know and the package can be adjusted. You will need 3 or 4 ISBNs according to your chosen formats to distribute. Each format has to have its own ISBN. 

Book Promotion: is optional – you can decide if you would like Aurora to help with your book promotion, or you are able to set this up yourself.

Website: this is an essential for all authors. We are happy to help and our web developer will work with you direct if you choose to set up your own website.

Distribution: You will need an account for the distribution of your book with platform of your choice – Ingram Spark or Amazon, or both. Ingram Spark has worldwide distribution to all the online bookstores. Amazon has their own distribution. We are happy to discuss your options with you to give your book its best advantage.

Royalties: You are completely in charge of your royalties. You will receive the total of the net compensation from your chosen distributor.

PDF Files: The final PFD, Cover, and ebooks will be given to you, ready for you to upload to your distributor. If you are not tech-savy in this area that’s fine, we can upload them for you as part of the self publishing package service.

Payment Plans: We also offer payment plans for those authors who wish to spread the processes a little. Please enquire if you wish to utilise this service.
