Author Bio
“Fizzi (Elizabeth Reynolds) and Lili (Linda Wills) have been best friends since they were 10 years. Fizzi, as a lawyer, has been a wordsmith for many years. Lili, as a photographer, was also known as a wonderful water colourist, so they decided to combine forces and see if they could create a magic Children’s story.
Three years ago their first book, KARLA THE COOLEST KOALA IN NOOSA, about a koala who lives in the Noosa National Park and decides to be brave and spend a day as a tourist in Hastings Street, was launched. To their astonishment it flew off the shelves.
A year later their collaboration produced KARLA TO THE RESCUE, a book to pay tribute to all those men, women and critters who helped each other and valiantly fought the bushfires around Australia in the summer of 2021.
The trilogy was complete with the launch last November of KARLA DISCOVERS THE GREAT BARRIER REEF, a wonderful conservation adventure set around Lady Elliot Island, where Karla goes snorkelling, having mastered, “a hose for a nose”. And Lili probably becomes the only artist on Planet Earth who has painted a koala under water…..
To date Fizzi & Lili have sold more than 6000 copies of their beautiful books and been able to donate more then $5000 to the causes of Koala conservation and preservation. They also know their books have been set all over the world. “
