This was a really good easy read. Perfect book to give to kids for them to understand that life isn’t always going to be easy but family and friendship are important to help you overcome some serious hardships. Ms Roso has written a touching book about some hard topics, family illness, the trust children put in adults and whether we have the internal strength to do and be everything for everyone.

I highly recommend Race Against Ace. I could not put it down. It had loveable characters, a creative and suspenseful plot. The memorable ending leaves you smiling. I’m really hoping there will be a sequel!. It would make an excellent class novel. Absolutely Brilliant.~ Bianca

This book wouldn’t interest a lot of young readers as it is 100+ pages. One of those books you choose in the school library just because it has a nice cover. Most kids don’t even bother to pick books up these days. A way to make it more interesting would have been to make the cover a bit more understandable. I spent a couple minutes breaking down what was going on with the cover just to get an understanding. The book is good though, Just don’t think it would be a ‘MUST READ’ for younger ages.~ Ben Hitchens
